The Sterling Academy (thesterlingacademy.com) owns and runs this website and the parent portal. In this statement, "we" and "us" mean The Sterling Academy.

Unless we say otherwise, we own, or have permission to use, everything on this website and in the portals:

• our name, The Sterling Academy, our logo and our "Learn, Lead, Excel" line;
• the design and layout of the site, and the text, graphics and images we have made;
• the teaching plans, worksheets, resources and feedback our teachers prepare for your child.

You may view the site, print or save a page for your own use, and use the plans, worksheets and resources we share for your child's own learning.

Without our written permission, please don't:

• copy, share, publish or sell our materials, or pass them to another tutor or business;
• use our name or logo in a way that suggests we are connected with you or endorse you;
• copy the site's content or design for another website;
• record or share our online lessons.

Names of curricula, qualifications and exam boards that we mention, such as GCSE, describe what we teach. They belong to their owners and we are not part of, or endorsed by, those organisations. The same goes for the names of tools we use, such as the payment provider Payoneer.

Files you upload, such as homework or a document for a class, remain yours. By uploading them you let us and your child's teacher use them to teach your child, and nothing more. Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
